A Work in Progress...

As you know I am behind on my blogging. I feel behind in everything in my life right now. But, I'm catching up...I have been busy the past 9 weeks you know. We are having fun learning to be parents and can't wait for you to see what we've been up to and to follow us as we take on new adventures and experiences. We have lots to tell, so please be patient and keep checking back. It won't be long before I'm up to date on our happenings. To make you smile...Evy loves being outside so we take nightly walks around the neighborhood, so here's a pic of our love bug from the other night...

Happy Two Months!

Dear Evy, You are growing so fast!

~You now weigh 9 pounds 14 ounces and you are 23 inches long~

~You are now in size 1 diapers and are wearing 0-3 month clothes~

~This past month you have discovered your voice and love to "talk" to us. You also "talk" to yourself in you mirror on your playmat~

~You are wanting to laugh so bad, but just haven't figured out how to get the laugh out. A few times you have tried to laugh out loud and it scared you~

~You are gaining better control of your muscles love to exercise your arms and legs. When we bend your knees and hold your feet you will push back and scoot yourself. You love doing this over and over~

~Your little personality is blooming. You are very expressive in your emotions, especially when we stop you from eating to burp you. You will throw back your head and cry (but never shed a tear)~

~When you smile...you smile with your whole body, and your eyes just light up~

~You love, love, love to be outside. If you are fussy all we have to do is walk outside and you stop fussing and look around. We have started taking you on nightly walks and you love it so much~

~You have found your hands and play with them or put them in your mouth and suck on them~

~I think we have finally figured out your tummy troubles and you seem to be feeling so much better~ Evy, we love you so much and are so blessed to have you in our lives. You are our little Love Bug and a joy to us! This is one of your favorite songs right now. You love to "sing" and dance (wiggle) to "Smile".
