Time Together

It was such a beautiful day today that we spent a lot of time outside.  After Evy's morning nap we took a walk to the new park by our house.  Evy loves it there!

There is a huge butterfly at the park so we thought Evy needed some pictures with it.  She loved sitting on top looking around at every one else {she's pretty nosey}.

When we got back home we were all pretty hot so we got out Evy's pool and she took a dip in the pool.  The water was freezing but she didn't seem to care.

After her swim Evy wanted to watch her daddy wash his car.  So she sat in the sun for a while to warm up from her dip in the pool.

Finaly, we ended the day playing in the best toy ever...a box!  Evy loves crawling in boxes so we had one in the garage we brought in for her to play in.

What a great day!

Evy has spent this week with her grandparents so I wasn't able to take a picture of her.  This picture was taken back in November.  Evy loves animals and my parents have a donkey, Jenni, that she was "talking" to in this picture.  She looks so tiny!  I miss Evy and can't wait to see her today!

Finally!

Evy has achieved another significant milestone!  We have been saying for many, many months that Evy has been teething, yet nothing was cutting through.  But, on Thursday night Evy woke up screaming in the middle of the night.  We could tell she was hurting, but she didn't have a fever {she has been sick this past week with a sore throat so that is why we checked her temperature}.  We gave her some Tylenol and Chad held and rocked her for about an hour and she finally fell asleep.  However, when he put Evy in her crib she began crying.  She cried for a few minutes and finally fell asleep.  The next morning we were all waking up and I asked Chad to check and see if Evy had a tooth and sure enough we felt the jagged edge of a tooth poking through.  Her gums must still be sore because she won't let us feel it much, or even try to see it, but trust us...it's there!

Evy is a busy body!  So I'm always trying to find new activities for her.  She got this car for Christmas and she loves playing with the gadgets on it.  But, she has never really taken a ride on the car.  So I thought I'd put her on it and push her around the house.  The next day I put her on the car and she started {slowly} making it move on her own.  She's such a fast learner!
