Happy Nine Months!

Dear Evy,

Where has the time gone?  I cannot believe you are 9 months old!  So much has happened this past month.  You have learned many new things and your sweet, funny personality is blossoming more and more.

~You weigh 19 pounds 1 ounce and you are 28 inches long~

~You have brown eyes with specks of green~

~Your hair is growing longer and thicker and it is a light brown color~

~You are in size 3 diapers~

~You wear mostly 9 month clothes and some 9-12 month clothes.  Mommy loves

dressing you up in all your cute outfits~

~You are still a chatter box and typically go to bed talking and

wake up talking.  We think you have quite the imagination~
~A few of the words you say are "Momma", "Dada", and "Hi"~

~You love to sing.  Most of the time it's with the radio or a song playing on the television.

But sometimes it will be quiet and you will start singing~

~You love to laugh~

~You love to love...whether it's loving on mommy and daddy, your stuffed animals,

or other kiddos...you are very loving~

~Your monkey puppet is your favorite stuffed animal...except for froggy~

~You are a busy body!  You are hardly ever still for very long!~
~You are very silly~

~All in one week you mastered crawling and pulling up on furniture and walking alongside~

~You are very strong!  You sometimes will kick the front of your crib and have caused the screws to loosen~

~You can now feed yourself with your fingers.  You will eat puffs and banana slices all by yourself~

~Your favorite foods seem to be sweet potatoes and banana slices.  Mommy made you mashed potatoes and peas {separately} this month but you didn't seem to enjoy either of those foods~

~You LOVE to be outside, even for just a minute.  Any time we have good weather

we are outside walking you around the block or swinging at the park~

~You LOVE, LOVE, LOVE animals!  Whether it is grandpa's cows and donkey or friend's dogs,

you will crack up laughing and want to touch them.  We can't wait to get you a pet~
~Your favorite TV shows are Yo Gabba Gabba and Wonder Pets~

~You continue to sleep very well and go to bed without any problems~

~You had your first Christmas and New Year.  You got lots of great presents and

spent lots of time with family.  You really enjoyed playing with all 4 of your cousins~

~You went swimming {indoors of course} on New Year's Day~

~You spent your first night {which ended up being 2 nights} away from mommy and daddy.  We sure did miss you, but you had lots of fun at the farm~

~You experienced your first snow this month...you were mesmerized by it~

Evy, you are still such a joy in our lives.  We love your sweet personality and laugh often when we are sharing time with you.  It's hard to believe we are already planning your first birthday party!  We promise to treasure every moment we have with you!  We love you so very, very much!

Evy's first snow!

When we walked out of church on Sunday it was pouring snow.  It was so beautiful!  And it seems Evy enjoyed it as well.

I might be going against the rules of {embrace} the camera...I did {embrace} the camera...just the video camera.

The other day Evy and I were playing and I *sighed* really big.  For some reason this just cracked her up.  I can't get enough of her sweet laugh!
