Evy's first July 4th holiday was spent with the Davis clan at her Uncle Ramsay and Aunt Meagan's house. We enjoyed having dinner together and watching a firework show in the neighborhood. I was concerned that the booms would upset Evy but she was so relaxed and enjoyed watching the bright lights in the sky.
The highlight of the evening though was Evy meeting her great grandmother, Momme. She and Momme sat on the couch for the longest time talking to each other. It was the sweetest thing!

Steph, seeing pictures of Evy with Momme made me cry. I miss Mema and wish she were here to share special moments with Evy. She loved you and Scott so much. Such beautiful pictures of you and your precious family. I love you all, Mom.
